About Me I’ve always been passionate about words. As a little girl, pens and paper were my favorite toys. I loved to spend hours scribbling in notebooks before I even knew how to write a single word. Throughout my formal education, I was always driven by the possibilities of language and how words shape our perspectives, emotions and thoughts. Being a professional writer has been a wonderful opportunity to continue to explore language and its potential. It is a privilege to be able to express myself in words and to continually try to see the world through a variety of perspectives. Through my writing, I hope to foster kindness, sensitivity and understanding. I hope, too, that my work provokes thought and provides encouragement to my readers. I am motivated by the constant goal of having my words glorify Jesus Christ. In the 7+ years that I’ve worked as a freelance writer, I’ve amassed a variety of experience through writing social commentary, personal essays, poetry and greeting card text. The varied nature of this experience in the publishing industry has brought with it a unique, marketable dimension to my writing.
